Dr. Gerald Tan – Gerard started his learning journey for wellness in pre-medicine at university in Saskatchewan. He later went to San Francisco to study Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine where he graduated in 1986. Gerard has a diverse background in the field of integrated healing. He studied under Dr. Yu Min Chen, Andrew Tseng, Efrem Korngold and Misha Cohen until 1986 learning how to help people with immune problems like cancer, AIDS, lupus, multiple sclerosis, hepatitis among others. He has also studied women’s health and fertility with Obstetric Gynecologist Dr. Hsieh. Weeklong retreats and ongoing support programs are offered by a team of health care professionals and volunteers who believe that communities can develop resilience in the face of illness and healing, loss and death, by coming together in a process of authentic dialogue and in an in-depth exploration of what it means to heal emotionally and spiritually while living with, or dying from, cancer.
Tara Keller Ng – Her team consists of experienced and highly qualified Kinesiologists who are all practicing members under the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK) and Canadian Kinesiology Alliance (CKA). The Massage Therapists Association (MTA) – The professional organization for Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs)of B.C. It functions similarly to a union, and has voluntary membership. The MTA works directly on behalf of RMTs, negotiating with government and regulatory bodies to promote massage therapy. It also assists RMTs in setting up contracts with insurers such as MSP, ICBC, WCB, DVA and RCMP. The MTA sponsors and promotes research, provides post-graduate education, enables access to reduced rates for group insurance packages for MTA members, and fosters public awareness of massage therapy.
The College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC) – Our licensing organization. CMT membership is mandatory in order to practice as an RMT. The College examines and licenses RMTs; it also establishes regulations governing scope and standards of practice. The College also protects the public from unprofessional or unethical conduct by either RMTs by setting guidelines for advertising, ethical behavior and discipline, and investigating complaints against RMTs.

Beverly Kosuljandic and Bob Fong – Loise Didyk, Mary Lou, David Bailey are all wonderful phyios who utilize Massage Therapy and Cranial Sacral techniques to heal.
All of the physiotherapists are Orthopaedically trained and university educated. We are able to assess and give a physical diagnosis for injury or movement dysfunction for all areas of the body. We have individualistic treatment styles and enhance our skill development with continuing education courses on an ongoing basis. Several of our physiotherapists have a special interest in sports physiotherapy, but do not limit their skills to this one area. We have expanded our therapeutic techniques to include Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and Ergonomic Assessments.

Vancouver Pilates Centre founded by Diane Miller – Dianne Miller has been at the forefront of the Pilates field in Canada since introducing the Pilates Method to Canada in 1984. She had professional experience as a dancer, and has an extensive teaching background in dance as well as in Pilates. In addition to Pilates, Ms. Miller specializes in structural alignment, and in rehabilitation for the brain injured.
Denise Drisdelle – In 2005 she graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster, BC. She took post graduate training in Manual Lymph Drainage in 2006 at the Vodder School in Victoria and has since been in private practice in Vancouver and at Inspirehealth, an integrated cancer care clinic. She is also an instructor at WCCMT. She has recently joined the board of directors at Spectrum Society.
Everest Therapeutics – Both Brad and Mark have been practicing Massage Therapy since 1995 and each gained experience managing their own separate massage therapy practices. In 2001, they decided to combine their experience and skills by opening a practice that offers progressive soft tissue rehabilitation and pain management treatments in a more personal setting.
John Russell – John graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1989, and has been in private practice since that time. He has been a partner at the Burnaby Neuromuscular Massage Therapy Clinic since it started in 1991. John has received extensive post-graduate training in manual therapy and exercise science courses. He has been an international instructor of St. John Neuromuscular Therapy seminars, as well as Muscle Balance and Function exercise courses. John has been a member of an integrated health team with Dr. Khan and Dr. Yasin, as well as a Massage Therapist for the B.C. Lions of the Canadian Football League and the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League. John has completed the five years of study at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2008. He continues to study and practice manual osteopathic technique.
Koby Blanchfield – She is an RMT, with over twenty years experience using massage therapy and manual lymph drainage. She has maintained her status as a Vodder Certified MLD Therapist since 1992, by attending Vodder Therapist Reviews every two years. She has also maintained her standing with Lymphology Association of North America (CLT-LANA) since 2002. Koby is also a Certified Senior Instructor with the Dr. Vodder School International and travels internationally to teach Manual Lymph Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy.
Marjorie Haynes – Marjorie Haynes has been in private practice as a Registered Massage Therapist in Vancouver, BC, since 1990. She was a TA, instructor and clinic supervisor of WCCMT in the early nineties. In 1994 she was among the first top ten in Canada to be certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, St. John Method. She is indebted to many people for her training and perspectives, including: Natale Rao, Paul St, John, Alan Gehan, John Upledger, Armand Ayalton, and Howard Jones. In 1997 Marjorie established the Open Door Healing Arts Centre, and in 1999 began teaching a variety of healing arts based on Spiritual and Energy forms. In 2003 she developed a series of Massage Therapy workshops. Marjorie has been offering the accredited Applied Tensegrity series since 2004.
Paula Jasper – Paula provides treatment in her home clinic as well as hospital and home visits. She had provided care to women in the APHC (Antepartum Home Care Program) and to women diagnosed with high risk pregnancies at BC Women’s and St Paul’s Hospitals. She also provides postpartum care for post cesarean section complaints and general fatigue, swelling and pain.
Robert Hackwood – Using a variety of techniques that he has integrated into his practice he will treat the viscera (internal organs), cranium (the bones in the skull move), joints in the spine and extremities (he will use different approaches than the chiropractic high-velocity adjustment technique) and soft tissue.
West Coast College of Massage Therapy – Their RMT student interns provide therapeutic remedial and preventative massage and hydrotherapy services 7 days a week in New Westminster. Your 60 minute massage treatment will include a thorough patient history and assessment in order to provide you with the most beneficial treatment.
