Margaret Bacon, RMT

The foundation and starting point for my work is a respect for the body’s innate capacity to heal. From this core conviction I cherish the opportunity to facilitate and participate in the healing process with my clients.

I welcome caring for people of all ages and states of health at any stage of life, with a special interest in pelvic and abdominal conditions, women’s health, breath work, and/or anxiety concerns. I strive to create a working partnership where each client leaves a session feeling a step forward in their healing.

Since becoming a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in 2009, I have pursued continued training in myofascial release, visceral manipulation, and craniosacral therapy. I regularly integrate these techniques into my treatments and have been delighted by their immediate and their longer-term efficacy. I also continue to explore the integration of my yoga teacher training into my massage practice, and find the various asana particularly helpful in developing therapeutic exercise programs for the clients under my care.

At Trikinetic I love being part of a team of progressive health care professionals whose practices promote holistic care in a community environment. When I am not at Trikinetic you might catch me riding my chocolate brown Surly, yielding a shovel in my garden, letting go on my yoga mat, or geeking out with an neuroscience book.

Margaret Practices at Trikinetic Massage on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
